We were created for human interaction and more importantly with a big empty need for love. We are imperfect creatures and therefore try to satisfy that desire with other imperfect solutions. Thus our devastation when rejection ensues.

It's the fight or flight response, except in this situation the flight is what He is looking for. It is not fleeing from your pain, but chasing toward your Healer. "We don't know what we're missing out on. We try to plan our entire lives based on comfortability and end up losing out on an incredible experience, because we are afraid. God doesn't want us to be afraid. He wants us to trust Him." I just recently turned seventeen, and one of the questions that I get asked the most is: "What do you want to do with your life?" WELL GOOD QUESTION.
I want to travel the world, meet people and hear about their lives. I want to make a difference for Christ, I want to get married to some dreamy guy and procreate. I want to make people feel again through words and photos. I want to be happy. I want to journal about my adventures and often the lack there of, and when I'm old give my journal to my granddaughter so she'll realize that I once was young, too. Okay girls, I'm talking to you. Raise your hand if you want to fall in love with a guy that is madly inlove with Jesus and you. Yeah girl, me too. I just watched two wedding videos and they both made me cry, because I desire that so much. I want that real, true, and intimate love that you don't always see anymore. That love that only exists when Jesus is at the center of it all.

"Choose everyday to forgive yourself. You are human, flawed, but most of all worthy of love."
